Designed as an advanced level
course, and intended to provide comprehensive training in the advanced
skills required to practice at consultant level in a wide range of
complementary therapies and clinical settings. Drawing on a wide range of resources and contributors,
the course is designed to suit students whom already have some background
knowledge in this field, either from self interest, employment in a
related area, or previous study. Considerable emphasis has been placed on
both the practical and theoretical skills required, and there are numerous
case studies and projects to complete during the course of study. Students on the course also receive one
years' free practitioner's membership of the International Association of
Independent Therapists and Practitioners (www.iaitp.co.uk).
HDCOMP is a fascinating course,
giving students the opportunity to gain a comprehensive and professional
insight into a range of complementary therapies and their clinical
application. The course provides a thorough overview of human biology and
physiology before looking at a wide range of therapies, examining both
