A fascinating course giving students a comprehensive insight into fashion design and drawing skills. Whether you wish to draw and design clothes for yourself and friends, or perhaps use the course as a stepping stone into further study and a career in this field, FDC02 will teach you all you need to know.

Drawing on a wealth of knowledge from leading authors and designers, the course covers both the history and role of fashion, followed by detailed modules on each of the individual stages of creating and executing the design of clothes and accessories. During your studies, you will learn how to bring out and enhance your own design talents, learn and practice fashion drawing skills, and how to transfer your design into a pattern and physical reality.

FDC02 is divided into a number of easy to study modules, with supporting text and assignments to be returned for marking. You work through the material at your own pace, and have access to tutorial support by telephone or internet.
